Recently two requests have reached Haverim L’Refuah’s Medication Division that were impossible to ignore:
Lia, 6, and Maayan, 10, are battling cancer and urgently need JAKAVI.
Children should be going to school, playing, laughing, and dreaming about the future. Instead, Lia and Maayan are spending time in the hospital, facing a serious illness and an urgent need for an expensive medication, costing approximately NIS 11,500 ($3,800) per month for each girl.
At the same time, we have received additional requests from several adult patients who also need JAKAVI. Haverim L’Refuah’s Medication Division has managed to provide the medication to some of these patients, but now we are facing a need that is greater than the resources available to us.
And that is why we are turning to you.
