Haverim L'Refuah's Mobile Pharmacy Project extends the reach of the Free Pharmacy, delivering life-saving medicines to over 300 cities and settlements across Israel.
The vans are custom-built to meet the strict criteria of the Ministry of Health regarding pharmaceutical transport, refrigeration and storage. Temperature-controlling cooler boxes are used for the transport of the medicine, each equipped with a GPS system for constant monitoring of each medicine's location. A mobile app is used by the volunteers for updates in inventory and supply.
