Geula was diagnosed in 2019 with stage 4 lung cancer. She underwent a biological treatment that managed to stabilize the cancer and cause an improvement in her condition, but at the beginning of 2023 her condition began to worsen.
She started receiving chemotherapy and another biological drug that helped her and stopped the cancer, but the doctor treating her asked to continue with an expensive biological treatment - Tagriso.
The cost after discount is about NIS 20,311 per month.
The treatment is supposed to prevent the cancer from spreading to Geula's brain and her family will do everything so that she can receive the expensive treatment.
