Thanks to you, we will turn the sting into honey

Case Description:

At the age of 4, Ido is facing challenges that can break the spirit of an adult, struggling to fight a disease in the lymph gland that threatens to take his life. A small child is unable to internalize the danger that hovers over him, but he can feel the helplessness of the adults who are afraid of losing him.

Adele and Maayan, two brave women, face breast cancer and the fear of having to abandon their families. With every breath, they fight for life and try to keep thoughts of the worst at bay. After all the treatments and the daily, excruciating pain, the hope to continue living is diminishing.

Ido, Adel and Mayan can stay alive, if only they receive a medication called PIQRAY that is not covered by their health insurance. Its monthly cost is 19,400 shekels ($5,100) and they need us, all of us, so that lack of money does not end their lives.

This is only the tip of the iceberg of the stories we encounter every day.

Every such story is full of hope and the faith that we will raise the required amount and be able to save lives. Thanks to our Department of Expensive Medicines, we manage to guarantee a future for hundreds of people a year.

We need your contribution to continue this.
