hen Hagai was 5 years old, he drowned in a swimming pool during a family vacation. He survived and was sedated for several days. After that, they began to wake him up and saw that he was partially responsive. Hagai was left disabled, with severe neurological damage. He underwent rehabilitation in the hospital and is now undergoing rehabilitation at home. He is confined to a wheelchair, fed through the stomach, and communicates occasionally only through his pupils. Hagai suffers from epilepsy and has seizures.
His parents are devoted to him and provide numerous treatments in order to rehabilitate him as much as possible.
He undergoes many treatments, physiotherapy, riding treatments, and requires 24-hour nursing care.
The personal cost to his parents each month is estimated at approximately 8000 NIS. We would be grateful for any assistance.
